Social Responsibility in the Mediterranean: Cooperation for Sustainable Development and good practices for Human Rights and Environment
This fifth edition will be opened with an international presentation of the CSRMed Forum – Mediterranean Permanent Forum for Cooperation on Social Responsibility - and its 80 Organizations, the results and the forthcoming goals, starting from those considered priority over the 17 SDGs of Agenda 2030, proposing an opportunity for a confrontation between Institutions, Academia, Businesses and Workers, on the evolving dynamics of human rights and environment and on the best experience of collaboration between public and private, profit and non profit, organizations for sustainable development in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Session dedicated to the framework of the objectives, strategies and instruments envisaged under the European Environment Program with a focus on the Mediterranean region as an opportunity for dialogue and confrontation on initiatives and projects, resources and opportunities related to the enhancement of tangible and intangible assets of a territory, in the context of sustainable and responsible development. Among the testimonies are the ECOMUSEI project with particular reference to the Mediterranean Diet and the experience of territorial regeneration through active citizenship paths.

Topic 2 | PMI4StartUp: the winning combination for sustainable innovation promoted by the Order of Engineers of Naples within the Working Group on Digital Citizenship within the Mediterranean Forum of Social Responsibility, with the collaboration of the Naples Accountants Order. Initiative aims to create new opportunities for dialogue and business-to-business confrontation in order to establish an osmotic relationship of exchange of knowledge and skills in support of innovation, but in full respect of the autonomy of the parties.

In the framework of the United Nations Business and Human Rights Guidelines and the European Union's request to Member States to prepare their own Action Plans, the President of the Inter-Ministerial Human Rights Committee (CIDU) - Ministry of Foreign Affairs - presents for the first time in our territories the Italian Business Plan and Action Plan 2016-2021 National Plan of Action (NPA) and therefore the commitments that our country intended to take in promoting policies for the respect of human rights in all activities Economic, in order to raise awareness of public and private profit and non profit organizations on the role that they are called to play in the development of a fair and inclusive society.
